As of now, the Sonavis One can receive and record the newest HDTV channels like Sat.1 HD, Pro7 HD or Anixe HD, transmitted in highly compressed H.264 format. The Sonavis One supports the new modulation process DVB-S2 that your HDTV uses to broadcast these channels.

The integrated high-quality video processor scales TV, DVDs, videos and photos to the desired resolution. The customizability of the resolution and refresh rate and the universal, progressive digital processing of video signals ensure a breathtakingly sharp picture. This goes for high definition sources such as HDTV and HD-DVD (WMV) as well as for standard definition sources like PAL television and video DVDs, which will still dominate for quite some time.

Its user interface is based on easy-to-use menus, and the attractive design of Sonavis' user interface is nothing like an office computer or media center. If the user closes the user interface, the Sonavis One changes to a high-quality personal computer in your living room or to a home theater.
