Kaleidescape offers more than just that, though. The company also has three media players and two media servers. One of these is the 1080 media player which is actually a mini media server. Set up as a RAID system, it provides excellent storage capacity on the hard drive for DVDs and CDs. Media is also easily integrated into the digital archive. The RAID system also prevents any data loss due to a power outage.

Another high-performance device is the Kaleidescape 1080p mini player, which lacks a hard drive. Using a server, films and music are fed into the mini player. In regard to its size, the mini player is quite the lightweight with its 1.4 kilograms. This enables the media player to remain well concealed in the room so that it is not an eye sore.

Kaleidescape's music player has different audio outputs and offers several various playback formats. Additionally, the music player's high performance is a great complement to the media player and the two media servers, which is also true of the 1U server. This is where the dream of every DVD and CD collector come true – the server can hold up to 337 DVDs or about 4050 CDs.
