The LaCie company is headquartered in the Baden region of Germany and has recently introduced their newly developed media centers Play and Record.

The Record model is a high definition media center equipped with a 500 GB hard drive. It is also available with a 1 TB hard drive. This way, you can be sure that you never miss your favorite TV series. All media, such as photos, music and movies, can be viewed on an HD television. Users can then individually determine what files should be recalled.

Another model is the Play media center, available with two different hard drive sizes. This is a high definition media player that can play back media on a HD television. Networked computers can also be connected to it and their contents can be played back by the media player. The devices are from the La Cinema Black series and offer several features, including the ability to access content from the network. So that connecting to the network is easy, the devices have been equipped with universal plug and play.

In the last few years, LaCie has developed a diverse multimedia environment with its products, including hard drives, USB keys and monitors.
