Today’s world is seeing more and more types of media and is replacing devices that used to be loyal companions for years. The important thing is that using the devices be made as easy as possible and that space be conserved. One device created for this purpose is the media server, which combines many functions into one.

Located at a central spot in the house, the media server is able to control the playback of audio and video files at different spots in the home. Of course, it is also possible to manage the often extensive amount of files on the media server. Additionally, photos can be saved on the media server, and, due to its very large hard drives, elaborate archives can be created for the files.

However, that is certainly not the full extent of the impressive multimedia experience made possible with a media server. Being able to use peripheral devices set up in different rooms of the home is just one of the benefits of the server. It can also be used by several people simultaneously so that this diverse server can be enjoyed to the fullest.
