Playback zones refer to different rooms within an apartment or house. Servers are set up centrally so that they can provide playback of audio and video files in different areas. It is thus possible to control different playback zones and different files, so several songs or videos can be heard or watched at different playback zones simultaneously.

The server's high-quality hardware enables this simultaneous playback. High-speed hard drives are especially important here, as they accelerate the working speed of the server. Furthermore, it is also possible to play back a song or video in all playback zones at the same time. Playback of different songs and clips in different playback zones is of course also a possibility.

Receiving wireless music in the individual playback zones is not a problem, and the music library leaves nothing to be desired.
